The food is excellent & the service is very good. The only problem is that weekends are impossibly busy with long lines to even get in the door. But I highly recommend the cuisine.

This is my favorite Chinese spot in SoCal. They get very crowded on the weekends so prepare to wait! The staff remembers my daughter and this was her favorite place to eat. I couldn't come here for awhile because everyone was asking about her and her father won't let her be with me and my mother anymore. The memories are a key reason why I came back and the staff told me that they remember her and to not stop eating here. The food is plentiful. Sadly this location is closing but they do have one up the street. Going to miss you all!

It seems silly to have never reviewed a restaurant my family and I have been coming to for over 29 years. It's even more silly to review a restaurant that is closing in less than a week but here I am.
Seafood Port is a Torrance institution and it's closing its doors after 23 years.
Over the years my staples have been ma po tofu, Kung Lao chicken, beef with flat noodles (no gravy), house fried rice and ginger and scallion crab. Im not sure I will find another restaurant which we can turn to for good Chinese food at a reasonable price.
The last day for take out is 12/7 and the wait times have been 45 minutes up to an hour as loyal customers flock one last time to place that one last order. I'm happy for the owners who finally get to retire and enjoy life. They deserve it.

Torrance staple for Chinese food. So sad they are closing permanently. If you've been you know that this place is legit a family style restaurant. They have a huge menu I'm sure you will find something you would like. They serve authentic Chinese food. Families come here to celebrate events as they can house big parties.
The parking is a bit tight but people have learned to deal with it.
Prices range from $20 and above.
They're closing soon so try them out now!

I'm so sad today. We came and saw this sign at the door. Farewell Seafood Port, you will always have a place in my heart.

Oh no, I am so sad to hear they are retiring. This is probably the best value authentic food in my area. Has always been reliably tasty and giant portions. Will miss them so much : (

23 years and closing - best local Chinese food place here in South Bay with best lunch special prices with huge portions. The owner at the counter runs a tight ship and keeps everything moving well, there's always a steam of those eating in the dining area vs the take out stream of people. Inside is cozy and always nearly packed on the weekends with happy eaters!
Our fav's include the Salt n Pepper Pork, S&P squid, S&P fish, Special Fried Rice, and the list goes on - you can't go wrong! Get here quick about 10 days before closed for good or we hope they find a new nearby home!

. I'm speechless. This place was practically my childhood restaurant. I remember having our celebrations here for birthdays & welcoming out of town family members. We will miss you so much! Thanks for all the years Seafood Port!!!!!!!!!

My family has been going to Seafood Port for Chinese food for years. Food is always delicious, portions are big, and price is affordable. We usually get the whole fried chicken, salt and pepper squid, the beef Hong Kong style noodles, and fried rice. Steam rice usually comes free with with entree and they serve a pandan tapioca dessert. Service is usually quick and to the point. So sad to hear that this restaurant will be closing permanently in December.
